Old World Wine is a wine bar in Clear Lake centered around the enjoyment of the world’s most fascinating beverage. 

The name of the shop has a 2-fold meaning.  On the one hand, it is a tribute to the ancient Mediterranean origins of grape cultivation and wine production.  On the other hand, it is a nod to a style of wine that centers around complexity, balance, subtlety, and harmony.  Wines made in the old world style always leave you wanting more, looking for another nuance with every tip of the glass; and most important of all, old world wines are spell-binding food companions.

Old World Wine exists to share the enjoyment of fine wine through professional food and wine pairings, educational classes, and retail sales.  As a customer of Old World Wine, you no longer have to put up with flabby whites and bitter reds.  Nor do you have to feel stressed out by the challenges of pairing food and wine.  Our wines are hand-selected; we guarantee value in every bottle and at every price level.
